How does the Free Ball work?
Six winning numbers are randomly selected from a set of numbers 1 to 42. Additionally, a seventh "Free Ball" number is selected from the remaining balls after the first six are selected. Players can use the free ball to increase lower-tier prizes.

The Lottery draws 6 Winning Numbers, followed by 1 "Free Ball" number from the same set of 42 balls. There is no free ball indicated on your ticket. If you match the 6 Winning Numbers, you win $1,000 a week for life!
Matching the "Free Ball" number with any of your numbers may increase prize amounts. For example, matching 5 of 6 winning numbers wins $600, however matching 5 of 6 winning numbers plus the Free Ball wins $1,000 a week for a year ($52,000)! The top prize of $1,000 a week for life is guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years. Therefore, if a winner passes away within 10 years of winning, the remaining annuity payments would be transferable to a beneficiary.
